Discover Scuba Diving

This is not a course, but an experience program. This enables you to have a try before committing to a full on training course!

Under direct supervision of your instructor, you will practice a few basic skills in the pool or in the sea. Then comes the exciting bit! Two dives in the sea, up to a maximum depth of 12m. Let the fun start!

After completion of this program, your instructor will register you with PADI as having completed this experience, because for this you may gain credit towards a Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver course with any PADI Dive Centre or PADI Instructor around the world!

PADI Scuba Diver

This is a certification for divers who wish to dive under supervision, or do not have the time available to complete the full Open Water Diver course.

This course consists of theory, pool sessions for skills development and two open water dives in the sea. The student receives their own course manual and certification card. This qualification enables the diver to buy or hire scuba equipment and dive under the supervision of a PADI Pro to a maximum depth of 12m. At any time the diver may upgrade to Open Water Diver status by completing the theory, final exam, pool sessions for additional skills and two further open water dives in the sea.

PADI Open Water Diver

This is it! This is the course that opens up the undersea world to you! Learn the basics to dive along with dive planning and simple underwater navigation. This course qualifies you to dive with other certified divers to a maximum depth of 18m.

This course consists of theory with a final exam, pool sessions to develop skills and four open water dives in the sea! Each student will get their own course manual and certification card, as required by PADI Standards.

Course information

Students are required to complete some standard PADI forms before the start of in water training. One of these forms is a medical statement which has a questionaire on it. Any health aspects raised on completion of this form will require the signature of your doctor to clear you for diving, prior to in water training.

All students receive their own course manual, and upon completion of the course, will get a certification card. As required by PADI Standards.

Junior Certifications

Junior divers can be certified from the ages of 10 to 15. The students complete the same course, but after certification supervision levels and depth limits apply. From the age of 15, adult limits are the norm.

Juniors may complete all courses up to Rescue Diver levels, so don't hold them back!
