Adventure Diver
Based on the PADI Adventures in Diving program, the student elects to complete three dives from the Adventures in Diving Manual. Theory is done by reading on those topics, writing a knowledge review and a discussion session with the instructor. This is followed by the dives, putting those points into practice.
Divers who elect to do the Underwater Navigation Dive may go on to in water Rescue Diver training.
PADI Advanced Open Water Diver
The Open Water course was about learning the basic skills to get into the water. The Advanced course is about becoming comfortable with the diving environment and introducing new skills and types of diving to wet your appetite for more adventure!
Based on the "Adventures in Diving" manual, the student diver selects five topics from the manual to study, write knowledge reviews and discuss with the instructor. Two topics, Deep Dive and Underwater Navigation are mandatory. Elective dives can be on topics such as, underwater photography, altitude diving, peak performance bouyancy, computer and multi level diving etc...
Once qualified, the Advanced Open Water Diver is certified to dive to a depth of 30m, good dive planning and good conditions allowing.

Emergency First Response (EFR)
The EFR course is a first aid course covering CPR and secondary care. This is a pre requisite course for Rescue Diver.
